How are LED lights dimmed?

LED drivers can be configured to dim the LEDs in two ways: pulse-width modulation (PWM) and constant current reduction (CCR). Pulse-width modulation (PWM) switches the LED current at a high frequency between 0 and the rated output current to adjust LED brightness. Constant current reduction (CCR) or analog dimming control the light output of the LEDs by adjusting the current flowing continuously to the LEDs.
